Welcome!

You have reached the totally redesigned Hoeslyvista, a digital photography site dedicated to providing free, high-quality desktop pictures to the Mac, Windows, and Linux communities. A listing of my photo galleries is given below with descriptions and navigation links. Updates are listed below. Email me if you have any comments or questions. In addition to providing pristine photographic desktop pictures, Hoeslyvista utilizes some of the latest web standard recommendations put forth by the W3C including XHTML and CSS levels 1 and 2. My intent is for Hoeslyvista to be accessible not only by graphical web browsers on desktop computers but by television-based browsers, handheld computers, information appliances, and even text-only terminal browsers for the quick and easy retrieval of desktop pictures from almost any environment. Additionally, special attention has been given to tailoring content for the print medium.

Updates

January 1, 2005 — A heavy snowfall in my locale brought some winter scenery I’d like to share with you. A new Seasons Gallery has been added to accomodate them.

July 26, 2003 — A series of three pictures featuring cloud formations has been added to the Skies Gallery.

June 3, 2003 — Two new recruits join the ranks in the Skies Gallery along with two more in the Water Gallery. Switching between galleries has also been made easier by the addition of a popup navigation menu on each of the gallery pages.
